Anas Al Braehe

Born in 1991 in Syria , a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on painting and Art Therapy. He studied painting and photography at the Fine Arts University of Damascus, Syria. After the onset of war in Syria, he moved to Lebanon where he completed his MA in Psychology and Art Therapy at the Lebanese University. His recent work combines his expertise in the fields of art and psychology, to create a contemporary portraiture that explores the psychology of color and the gaze of the other.

 

Through his experience in volunteering and working within the humanitarian and non-governmental sector for a period of three years, particularly in the Syria crisis context, he has acquired and developed the skills and patience for working in difficult conditions, as well as working within a team and using his communication skills for a cause. He is also very passionate about working with children with special needs, and has developed an approach that enables building positive trustful relationships with individuals he has worked with.
