CHAPTERS

After my last solo show in 2013 I decided to take some time off and re discover the excitement of novel experiences.  So I travelled to many cities, big, and small which drove me to do more art medium research which instilled inspiration, as always.

During these years I experienced many emotions which affected my creativity. Sometimes adversely and sometimes positively. I waited patiently until I could gather my thoughts and my new narrative.

Finally, a mountain of ideas accumulated from all my inner experiences until I decided to execute them in phases.

Hence my Exhibition is entitled CHAPTERS.

Each chapter is an emotion of a personal journey which will be explained with every artwork. The works I have chosen to display have played an important role in my life over the past years. I hope the viewers will be transmitted into to my world and be engaged with thoughts. I use all kinds of media sometimes combined with painting and translated on to different surfaces.

In the words of the German painter Otto Dix “All art is exorcism. I paint dreams and visions too; the dreams and visions of my time. Painting is the effort to produce order; order in yourself. There is much chaos in me, much chaos in our time.”
